Matthew W. Silverstein is a litigation associate handling matters involving business disputes, commercial litigation, personal injury, and product liability matters.
Mr. Silverstein earned his undergraduate degree in History and Political Science from Florida State University and his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. While studying at Wake Forest, Mr. Silverstein served as the managing editor of the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law, interned at the North Carolina Department of Justice and the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office, and participated in the Wake Forest Veterans Legal Clinic. Mr. Silverstein also interned for a member of Parliament in the House of Commons in London, United Kingdom during his undergraduate career.
Mr. Silverstein previously served as an Assistant State Attorney at the State Attorney’s Office in Jacksonville where he handled cases ranging from misdemeanors to life felonies and tried over 15 cases to a jury verdict.
Mr. Silverstein is a Jacksonville native. While not practicing law, he enjoys reading, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
