Michael J. Humphries
Michael J. Humphries is a litigation associate handling matters involving product liability, personal injury, and commercial litigation disputes.
Mr. Humphries graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Humphries earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of North Florida. While in law school, Mr. Humphries gained valuable courtroom experience serving as a student prosecutor at the Commonwealth’s Attorneys’ Office in Botetourt County, Virginia.
Before joining Murphy & Anderson in 2018, Mr. Humphries worked as a litigation associate at Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin, where he practiced in the areas of products liability, automotive liability, premises liability, and general negligence matters. Mr. Humphries has additionally served as claims counsel and assistant vice president with Fidelity National Title Group.
Mr. Humphries was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from the Episcopal School of Jacksonville. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, fishing, shooting sporting clays, and spending time with his wife.
