Sarah Y. Usman
Sarah Y. Usman is a litigation associate handling matters involving business disputes, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and product liability matters.
Ms. Usman graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law where she served as the Executive Editor of the University of Miami Business Law Review and was a member of the Charles C. Papy Jr. Moot Court Board, receiving first place in the CKP Cup competition and advancing as a finalist in the national Duberstein Moot Court Competition. Ms. Usman was also an intern with the Bankruptcy Assistance Clinic at the University of Miami, where she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for her pro bono assistance to low income individuals.
Before joining Murphy & Anderson, Ms. Usman’s work experience included positions at Bast Amron, LLP and Gray Robinson, P.A. Sarah also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Robert A. Mark and the Honorable John K. Olson at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Ms. Usman was born and raised in Miami, Florida and recently relocated to Jacksonville. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the city.
