He also served as an intern for the Honorable Judge Rudolph Contreras of the District Court for the District of Columbia and at the Securities and Exchange Commission, where he assisted in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Unit.
Brief Career History
Prior to joining Murphy & Anderson, Daniel W. Cardenas was an assistant state attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida. This opportunity helped him gain substantial jury trial experience prosecuting a wide array of cases. He was also a member of the State Attorney’s Office’s Special Prosecution Unit, where he was the lead attorney handling the majority of complex fraud and large-scale economic crime cases in Duval County.

Originally from Tampa, FL, Daniel W. Cardenas enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family in his free time.
