Lawton R. Graves of Florida is a litigation attorney with experience handling matters involving business disputes, commercial litigation, compliance with state and federal securities laws, employment disputes, financial services firms, foreclosures, product liability, product performance, regulatory investigations, and securities disputes. He has proudly handled cases in over 25 states in the U.S.

Prior to attending law school, he earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida State University (FSU). During his undergraduate studies, he participated in the Jacksonville Collegiate Leadership Program. He then earned his law degree and graduated magna cum laude from the Florida State University College of Law, ranking in the top 10% of his class. He was an active member of the FSU Law Review.

While earning his undergraduate degree, Lawton R. Graves worked with the Jacksonville State Attorney’s Office. Before joining Murphy & Anderson in 2010, his work experience included a position as a summer associate at the Jacksonville office of McGuireWoods, LLP.

Lawton R. Graves was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, where he proudly graduated from the International Baccalaureate program at the Stanton College Preparatory School. Outside of work, he enjoys playing soccer and tennis in his free time and spending time with his wife and daughters.
