Davis D. Balz of Florida is an experienced litigation lawyer handling matters involving business disputes, broker-dealers, complex commercial litigation, financial services firms, product liability, regulatory investigations, securities disputes, and beyond. He has substantial experience representing contractors, owners, developers, and associations in a variety of real estate and construction litigation matters, including design/construction defect claims, liens, and contract disputes.

Davis D. Balz received his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the College of William & Mary. He then earned his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law, graduating in the top 10% of his class.

He began his legal career as a litigation associate at Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A. Before joining Murphy & Anderson, he was an analyst for a national consulting firm and several real estate development services companies.

Davis D. Balz was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports in his free time and spending time with his wife and two sons.
