Jordan M. Janoski
Associate
Jordan Janoski is an associate who focuses his practice on commercial litigation and product liability disputes. He represents both businesses and individuals in matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts, securities litigation and arbitration, as well as claims under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA). In the area of product liability, Jordan defends both manufacturers and retailers of heavy equipment from claims for design, manufacturing, and warning defects.
Prior to joining Murphy & Anderson, Mr. Janoski gained years of experience in the areas of business and insurance litigation at the Jacksonville offices of two respected litigation firms. Mr. Janoski earned his law degree magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, he was Senior Research Editor of the South Carolina Law Review, a competition-team member of the South Carolina Moot Court Bar, a legal research and writing tutor, and a student ambassador. He received his Bachelor’s degree in political science from The Ohio State University.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Mr. Janoski now lives in Jacksonville’s Avondale neighborhood with his wife Annie.
